Although, The mtn musicplus is no longer new to the gurus. It's been in existence for long and a lot of people have rocked it in the past! I used the word past because it's been for sometimes blocked, just yesterday i decided to try it and guess what?? it worked!
Mtn musicplus still rocks with
Psiphon and
Simpleserver (psiphon preferably). If you are new to the whole tricks this is how it works.
- Send D to 5900, mtn will send you a message but sometimes they won't but to check whether you have received the 150mb just dial *559*2#.
- If you were given the 150mb, configure your simple server like this; APN is Web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net, Proxy server is 127.0.0.1 and port 8080. Then go to your simple server and in proxy server input 10.199.212.2 and port 8080. In injection query input http://musicplus.mtnoline.com and host is musicplus.mtnoline.com.
- For Psiphon Handler select real host and in proxy server input musicplus.mtnonline.com, in real proxy type select HTTP and input 80 below it. Click save and click option more options and tick connect through Http Proxy and also tick use the following settings, in host address input 10.199.212.2 and port 8080.(note Psiphon Handler doesn't require you to change your network settings ip and port to 127.0.0.1 port 8080 you can use mtn default).
NOTE: The time of renewing every time it is exhausted is now gone. You only have the opportunity of getting another 150mb "once" after the first is exhausted.
For the other 150mb: Send I to 5900 and follow the normal procedures.
